Do you have a new community on the horizon? Please review this Complete Community Set Up to see all the possible updates needed in order to get your community set up effectively.
The first step to starting a new community would be talking to your Account Manager so they/we can get the new community added to your app. The community will be left as “inactive” as any other items needed are organized and completed.
Here are some items to think about before requesting a new community…
Plans & Elevations
- Will this new community need new plans or elevations? Please contact your Account Manager to make sure we get anything new into our queue.
- If the new community will be using existing plans/elevations, then that will be an easy community assignments update!
Exterior Design Colors
- Will this new community need new or different color palettes or schemes? You can add, edit, and assign new colors as needed! Here are all of our help docs on the Color Tool.
- Will this new community need different brick or stone selections? Please talk to your Account Manager about overlays.
- Using existing Palettes or Schemes? Great! Just assign the Palettes or Schemes to the correct community.
- If you are using Scheme or Hybrid color methods, be sure your schemes are assigned to elevations as well.
- Lastly, make sure your community is set to the correct color method.
Siteplan
- Will this community need a siteplan? Please contact your Account Manager to arrange for us to get one created/rendered and/or loaded for you.
- Once the siteplan is loaded by us, you can go in and update lot details as needed.
