- To move or edit annotations on your siteplan, go to “Communities” and select the community you need to work in, then click “Siteplan.” All of your siteplans for that community will display below. Click the pencil icon (edit) for the siteplan you want to work with.
- There are 2 modes you can edit in. SVG Mode is the view where your lots will display a shaded piano-key-style when you hover over them. Normal Mode is a standard view where the lots do not change shades, but you can still interact with them.
We recommend moving and editing annotations in “Normal Mode.” The changes you make to annotations in Normal Mode, will automatically change in SVG Mode as well. You can click between the two modes while you are editing to make sure everything looks good on both maps. However, this is just a recommendation. You may find another workflow suits your edits better.
- Select “Move Annotation” in the drop down menu.
- Now simply click and drag the annotation to wherever you want it to go.
- Click “SVG Mode” to see where your annotation has moved on that map. Notice how the label is no longer on the active SVG lot. You will need to be careful of this when moving/editing annotations if you have an SVG map on your siteplan.
- You can also adjust the size of the annotation label (the box size and font size) using the Label Options to the right. (Note: the label options can be adjusted no matter what “mode” you are in)
- Simply change the numbers in each field to increase or decrease the size. Your changes will happen simultaneously as you adjust the numbers. Your changes affect every annotation on your siteplan.
- The only adjustment that affects SVG Mode is font size. You can edit the font size in SVG Mode too, just remember it will affect Normal Mode as well.
- IMPORTANT! Changes to your siteplans affect BOTH the My Home App (Siteplan) and Sales Center App (Homesites).
Please note: the Sales Center App mentioned above is an additional cost/upgrade. Please contact your Account Manager for more details.
