- Click on “Communities” and then click on “Sales Center.” Make sure the community you wish to work with is selected in the community list.
- This will default to the “Main Photos” tab. Click on “Points of Interest”
- Here you can start to add and build the Points of Interest (POI) you wish to highlight near your community. Click “Add POI Category”
- Enter the name of your category (i.e. Schools, Parks, Dining, etc). Then you will need to locate the icon URL that correlates with your category name (see step 5).
Find the correct pin and copy/paste the long URL into the “Icon URL” box. When done,
click “Submit”
- This will bring up the “Edit POI Category” window where you can see/edit the name, icon URL and icon of the POI category. You can also add your specific POIs. Click “Add POI”
- Enter the name, address, and latitude & longitude of a specific location. You must add latitude and longitude in order to move on (see how to find the latitude & longitude here). When done, click “Submit”
- After you click submit, the location will be added to your POI category list. In this list view, you can edit the name, address, latitude & longitude of each location. You can also delete the location if needed.
- Add more POIs in the list if needed and when finished, click “Done”
- Here you can see your POI category board. You can see the specific locations listed in the category board. You can click on the pencil icon on the bottom of the board which opens the “Edit POI Category” window again. Or you can click the trash can icon to delete the category.
- You can continue this process until you have added all of the POIs you wish to add. Categories are ordered alphabetically and will appear in the same order on the front end.
- When done, you can view your Points of Interest on the “Area Map” page of the Sales Center app. Here you can see your community and the post offices entered in the steps above.
